New Hyundai Creta SUV Launched in India with 3 Variants

Hyundai has added more excitement to its most popular SUV, the Creta, by launching three new editions in India — Creta King, King Night, and King Limited Edition. These special versions not only mark Creta’s ten successful years in the Indian market but also aim to give buyers a richer choice in the competitive mid-size SUV segment.

Hyundai Creta Price Details

The regular Creta lineup continues to be available in multiple trims. The E variant starts at around ₹11.10 lakh (ex-showroom). Stepping up, the EX is priced at ₹12.32 lakh, the S variant at ₹13.54 lakh, and the S(O) at ₹14.48 lakh.

The new Creta King edition is placed higher in the range with prices between ₹17.88 lakh and ₹20.61 lakh, depending on the engine and gearbox. Both the King Night and King Limited Edition take things further, with prices comfortably above the ₹20 lakh mark.

What’s Special About the King Editions

Hyundai has made visible upgrades to set these editions apart. The King edition comes with 18-inch alloy wheels, a bold matte black paint option, and exclusive badging. Inside, it brings features like a memory function for the driver’s seat, an 8-way powered passenger seat with walk-in function, and a seatback table with integrated cup holders for extra comfort.

The King Limited Edition adds premium details such as custom-branded cushions, floor mats, and even a key cover, giving buyers a more exclusive feel. The King Night edition goes for a sporty look with a special matte finish on its alloy wheels.

Feature Updates Beyond the Special Editions

Hyundai has also upgraded features across the wider Creta range. Now, equipment like dual-zone climate control with touch interface, an in-built dashcam, and wireless smartphone connectivity are available in several trims, including the Creta N Line. This means even buyers of the non-special variants get access to a more premium driving experience.

Engine and Gearbox Choices

Under the hood, Hyundai continues with the same proven set of engines — 1.5L petrol, 1.5L diesel, and 1.5L turbo-petrol. Transmission options include manual, CVT, automatic, and DCT gearboxes depending on the variant. However, the Night and Limited editions are offered only with automatic transmission, positioning them as more upmarket options in the lineup.

By adding exclusive styling, premium interiors, and more features across the board, the company is appealing to buyers who want both style and substance in their SUV. For those considering a mid-size SUV in 2025, the new Creta range ensures there’s something for every budget and lifestyle.
